This unique series of national park posters was inspired by the iconic cover of the 1979 Joy Division album, Unknown Pleasures.
The painstaking process of creating this artwork involves a little cartography, a touch of computer science and a little graphic design. Our designers start with the satellite elevation of the national park, crop it to the extent of the park, extract transects with elevation data and then use a custom-written computer script to format the data into the the pleasing representation you can see in the finished product.
The posters are printed on thick 210gsm satin paper, which offers excellent fade resistance and a high-quality feel. Choose between the two easy-to-frame sizes - 16"x20" and 24"x36".
As with all National Parks Partnership products, all items are designed in, printed in and shipped from the USA. All profits are donated to national park charities.
